Meeting CrossCanadaJax!

So I did a thing over the weekend. I went on a mini road trip down to Whitewood Saskatchewan to meet Jackson Charon-Okerlund and his buddy Rob. I found Jackson on TikTok back in 2022 when he was originally making his plans and training for his Cross Canada mission. Jackson is a 25 year old who is currently on a mission to run across Canada in honor of Terry Fox. As of posting this Jackson and Rob are on day 121 and have raised in total $72,000 for the Terry Fox Foundation across all of there fundraising platforms.

Back on March 6th 2023, Jackson started his journey solo across Canada with only a tent and a stroller he was off. Inspired by Terry Fox Jackson has been running 30 plus kilometers a day with a goal of running 100km in one day. While Jackson is making his way across Canada, he is doing daily live streams on TikTok to help spread the word about his mission.  After 4 month Jackson has managed to gain 50 thousand followers across Facebook, Instagram and TikTok.  On day 40 Jackson’s childhood friend Rob showed up with the van to help support Jackson so he could ditch the cart and focus on getting across Canada.
