Jack Black is set to add another block to his towering career by taking on the role of Steve in the Minecraft movie adaptation. The charismatic actor will be mining for laughs and adventure alongside Jason Momoa in what promises to be more than just a game of survival. The movie’s seen its share of boss-level challenges during development, including a rotating cast of directors and a couple of false starts, but now it’s gearing up for a 2025 release. The plot? Well, it’s still a bit hush-hush, but with Jared Hess of Napoleon Dynamite fame in the director’s chair, we can expect a creeper of a good time.
