It was a great time chatting with sooooo many listeners this morning who were reminiscing with me about the Halloween costumes we dressed up in when we were kids. Back when kids had to MAKE their own costumes you had to get creative!
The best of the best had to be Paige Cormons. In grade 5 dressing up as none other than OZZY OSBOURNE. What 11 year old girl doesn’t want to be the Prince of Darkness, right?! LOL!
I loved dressing up as “The Old Man”. All it took was an old suit with a pillow stuffed under the shirt, some cotton balls pasted on as eye brows and a mustache, and a little white flour in the hair. Beauty!
Mandy was super creative with her Unicorn Costume. Banana clip to pull her hair back into a ‘mane’ sprayed up with some coloured hair spray, and topped with a hair band that had a cardboard tube unicorn horn taped onto it. So simple and so fun!
Chris was “Sports” many times. He would pull on a hockey jersey, helmet, and gloves, or dad’s old football helmet, or ski-goggles, toque, mitts and ski poles. Genius! Just don’t go as an olympic diver… that one might be a little chilly. LOL!
James was the Incredible HULK with a green t-shirt over the winter coat. He said nobody got it but we can work with this! Add some black Sharpie abs and pecks, and make sure to say “HULK SMASH” instead of trick or treat.
Anonymous was Elton John! Hat with feathers, white suit coat, and some CRAZY Sunglasses and they were all set. Nice work!
Thanks for the fun this morning. Keep the fun going, Stream us on ANY device! Click the listen live button NOW! -Nic
